The orientation of this field is to develop researches that are useful for encouraging policy innovation and social transformation. Research leads to efforts to encourage a scientific model that is dynamic, adaptive, and inclusive through a sustainable development policy approach. The majority of researchers develop empirically-based research combined with literature research, and combined with the social dynamics of society which has been placed as the focus since the beginning.

  

Public Management Scientific Field

The orientation of this scientific group is to develop a study of innovation and services based on the development of human resources, the development of community needs, and information technology. The research direction in this group is the study of the potential development of public sector organizations and human resources. The results of the research in this group can be used to encourage efforts to improve the quality of public sector organizations in serving the community and themselves. Evidence of these efforts can be seen from the lecturers' research topics that focus on service, e-government, and human resource development.

 

Local Government Administration Scientific Field

The research orientation in this scientific group is to develop studies on the development of local government. The focus of the research is the study of regional finance, decentralization issues, and rural area development. This group focuses on social dynamics as an effort to encourage the development of better local government. Evidence of these efforts can be seen from the research topics of the lecturers which focus on public budgeting, public private partnerships in local governance, and local public service innovation.
